Steven Taetz is an award-winning singer and songwriter. After taking several big leaps over the last couple of years, he is now finding balance and inspiration to create and thrive as an artist. This new found confidence has garnered opportunities to share the stage with Robert Plant, Allison Krauss and Blue Rodeo. His latest project “Fruit” is now ready for your listening pleasure.
Advina V has a voice like an angel and a tender, heartfelt sound. As an award-winning songwriter, she creates an atmosphere of intimacy and wonder, captivating listeners from the very first note. She also has a loud, lush and emotionally charged side to her as she morphs into the front person for her new band Heartrunner.
AHI is a two time juno nominated Contemporary Roots artist. He has toured with Mavis Staples, Patty Griffin, Michael Franti and Lauren Daigle. His latest work “The Light Behind the Sun” produced by Rahki is packed with African and Caribbean influences and flavours. He has backpacked through Trinidad and Ethiopia and translated his life experiences into music.
John Dawson is well known in the Juno and Grammy arenas. He is a Toronto based musician with East Coast roots and has been selected for commissions and publishing projects on a national scale for 20 years. He is also the host of a popular show on a major Toronto based radio station which is a departure from music except for the song we are featuring today.
